Is big better for kids?

Is big better for kids?: "In 1974, the average size of an American home was 1,695 square feet, according to U.S. Census Bureau statistics. In 2004, the average was 2,349 square feet. On the other hand, the number of people living in a house has decreased from an average of 2.97 people per home in 1974, to 2.57 in 2004. What better way to fill that extra space than with toys for children? Technology plays a role in the rise of big toys as well. 'Twenty years ago they didn't have power vehicles,' Toys 'R' Us spokeswoman Kelly Cullen said. And 'there's probably more variety in the higher-priced items than there used to be.'" Very interesting article. You can find the full article here.
